Meet our Featured Speakers
Amy Wheeler / Baptist Health (KY & IN)
Amy Wheeler is a Lexington native who graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelors in Nursing in 2000, and from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Masters in Nursing Administration in 2015. She lives in Lexington with her husband of 27 years and has two adult daughters, but her favorite role is being a grandmother to her two-year-old grandson. She has been a nurse with Baptist Health for 23 years. Her professional background includes Labor & Delivery, Risk Management, Nursing Leadership, Process Excellence, Nurse Navigation, Perinatal Quality and Program Management. The highlight of her career is having the privilege of assisting friends and family during their birth experiences. She is an advocate for birthing people, is passionate about improving health equity and perinatal outcomes, and is a big fan of the Kentucky Wildcats.

Stephanie Hoskins Bio / VOA Mid-States
Stephanie has 17 years of experience in the non-profit sector, specializing in substance use disorder (SUD) services. Her career began at Cumberland River Behavioral Health where she served as a substance abuse counselor and later as assistant director of a residential program for pregnant females. In December 2019, Stephanie took on the role of Senior Director of Rural Addiction Recovery Services at VOA-Mid-States. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health from the University of the Cumberlands and is a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), and a Clinical Services Supervisor (CSS).
